Director of Early Language Immersion Program
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Director of our Early Language Immersion Program. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for multilingual education, strong leadership experience, and a proven track record in curriculum development. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the language immersion program, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, and creating a supportive environment for both students and teachers.
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the Early Language Immersion Program to ensure alignment with best practices in multilingual education.
Develop and oversee language-specific curricula (Spanish, French, Chinese, and English) for PreK through Elementary grades.
Recruit, train, and supervise a team of language immersion educators.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff to ensure high-quality instruction.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to support their language acquisition.
Collaborate with school leadership to develop strategies for continuous improvement in academic achievement and language proficiency.
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and culturally diverse learning environment for both students and staff.
Manage the program’s budget and resources effectively, ensuring the program remains financially sustainable and aligned with the school's mission.
Work closely with parents, staff, and external stakeholders to promote language acquisition and cultural awareness.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in bilingual or immersion education, with demonstrated leadership in an educational setting preferred
Experience in curriculum development and teacher training.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team of educators in a dynamic environment.
Fluency in at least one language other than English is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for multilingual education, cultural inclusivity, and fostering a global mindset in young learners.
Knowledge of state and accreditation standards for language immersion programs.

Floater Teacher (Infants to 2-Year-Olds)

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Floater Teacher to support our Early Learning Program, providing coverage for infants and 2-year-old children as needed. The Floater Teacher will step in when regular staff are unavailable, ensuring continuity of care, nurturing, and education. This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, enjoy working with young children, and have a passion for early childhood development in a multilingual, immersive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide temporary, day-to-day coverage for infants and 2-year-old children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Follow and implement lesson plans, activities, and routines designed by the lead teacher to meet developmental milestones.
Assist with the care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Support the classroom in facilitating language immersion, assisting children in their first steps toward multilingual development in English, Spanish, French, and Chinese.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff members to promote a collaborative and supportive environment.
Help create and maintain an organized, engaging classroom that supports both structured and unstructured activities.
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding any concerns or developmental milestones of the children in your care.
Assist with meal and snack times, nap times, and other daily routines as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
At least 1-2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or early childhood education setting.
Knowledge of early childhood development, particularly for infants and toddlers.
Ability to create a nurturing, stimulating environment that promotes language development and social-emotional learning.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in various classrooms and with different age groups as needed.

Substitute Teacher (K-5 Grade)
Job Type: As Needed / Part-Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Substitute Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, are adaptable, and can step in as needed to ensure that students' learning experiences are uninterrupted when the regular classroom teacher is absent. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for managing and supporting a K-5 classroom, following lesson plans, and maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher in a professional manner, ensuring the smooth continuation of the lesson for students.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure that students are engaged and focused during instructional time.
Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment that supports students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
Assist students with classwork and provide individual or small group support as needed.
Ensure that students remain on task and follow classroom routines and procedures.
Provide clear communication with the regular teacher regarding any challenges or important information from the day.
Maintain student records, complete necessary documentation, and uphold school policies and procedures.
Promote a positive attitude toward learning and encourage students to explore and ask questions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Valid teaching certification for elementary education (preferred).
Previous experience working with K-5 students in a classroom setting, either as a teacher or aide.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
Knowledge of elementary education best practices, including differentiated instruction and assessment strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and children.
Ability to follow lesson plans and implement them effectively in a substitute capacity.
Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis and adapt to different classroom environments.
